Must Love Dogs….Must Love to Clean
Monster Mutt is always looking for loving, caring, hardworking, dedicated, reliable, responsible, honest, mature to be kennel attendants.
However, before you apply, please realize that this is VERY hard work.
It is NOT a job hanging out playing with puppies all day.
Of course we want someone who loves dogs… but we are really looking for someone who understands the responsibility of caring for other people's beloved pets. We pride ourselves on maintaining a loving, clean, healthy, safe environment for all of our guests.
That means that kennel assistants are responsible for caring for, feeding, medicating and CLEANING up after 35-50 dogs per day. We work for the dogs, our job is to keep the place clean, sanitary, safe and fun for the dogs. They get to play all day and we clean up after them.
Consider this a HEAVY CLEANING position with the benefit of being around dogs all day. And just a reminder, you must be HARDWORKING. There is more cleaning (and poop) involved in this job than you can possibly imagine.
All positions are part-time with about 15-25 hours per week (and ideal for a college student with an interest in working with animals.) You will be required to work some weekends and holidays (when other people are home with their families for the holidays, we are caring for their dogs).
You also must be:
- over 18
- speak fluent English
- be able to provide proof that it is legal for you to work in the U.S.
