Hannah Monster Mutt’s top dog is Hannah, a Certified Canine Behavior Therapist, graduate of the Animal Behavior Center of NY and member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. After 10 Years working as a TV and film producer, in late 1999 Hannah decided to start a business caring for her true love…dogs. She worked as a manager of Animal Haven Shelter, volunteer for Center for Animal Care and Control and the ASPCA, here in Brooklyn as a dog trainer. In 2001 she finally opened her dream business, Monster Mutt Doggie Daycare. She lives just blocks from MONSTER MUTT with her own monsterous "mutt", Grimm.
Since February, 2002, Jenny, Monster Mutt Manager, has been part of our pack for the longest. After moving back to Brooklyn Heights from San Francisco, where she keeps up a long distance relationship with her dog Bowie, she got her fix of animal love volunteering at Bide-a-Wee shelter, while keeping company with her three rescued kitties, Rudy, Rerun and Big Kitty. After observing all of the training sessions we run here, Jenny, who has owned and managed a number of restaurants, is more than qualified to say that dogs make the best clients. Jenny

Liz has loved all animals, especially dogs, her entire life. She grew up with two dogs and countless other animals including rabbits, hamsters, birds, and mice. She is currently a Biology major at Pace University, and hopes to use her degree to work in wildlife conservation and rehabilitation. When not working at Monster Mutt, Liz volunteers at a dog shelter and hopes to one day be able to adopt dogs of her own!

Raquel is the beloved caretaker of all of our mutts.  Her hard work is only surpassed by her adoration of all of our charges.  Raquel lives here in Brooklyn with her fiancé, grandmother and her 3 kitties (Ipod, the cat who was pregnant when Raquel rescued her from the mean streets, & punky & an Jesus, the offspring of Ipod).  She describes her job at Monster Mutt as her “dream job”.  Raquel is the foundation of our kennel staff and we hope she will stay with us forever.

Rikke Brogaard is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), a certified Pat Miller Trainer (PMCT), and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She has over ten years of experience in training dogs, modifying problem behaviors, and in counseling families in how to train and live with their dogs. She runs her own dog training business Rikke B Dog Ttraining and is a volunteer behavior counselor for MAGDRL, the Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League. Close to Rikke's heart is the dog-child dynamic and helping families make the transition from being a "dog" family to being a "kid-dog" family (or the other way around) without adding extra stress to an already stressful time. She regularly attends conferences and educational seminars in order to always stay abreast of the latest ideas in the dog world, whether it relates directly to training, to veterinary health, equipment, or science and has has studied with some of the leading trainers and behaviorists in the country. Rikke knows she's lucky to be able to make a living doing what she loves to do, and she believes training should be fun for everyone involved. She doesn't considers herself successful until both the dog and the client she works with has successfully mastered a task and she is a firm believer in Positive Reinforcement (for dogs and clients) and uses force free methods only. Rikke lives in Brooklyn with her amazing daughter Dea and her two rescue Great Danes Olive and Rufus and a revolving cast of visiting dogs and foster pups.
